Florida Design Magazine Features Home with Commissioned Art by Sandy Young
Florida Design Magazine showcased the home of a Florida couple who commissioned Sandy Young to create custom art for their living area. The home was featured on the cover, and Sandy Young’s art featured prominently. Sandy created a series of three pieces of art from the couple’s vacation travel photos. Continuing with the rectangular theme of the architecture, Sandy wove the couple’s personal images into a work of art across three glass panels. The panels which had been formed in a kiln, float about an inch from the wall’s surface, adding additional depth to the imagery.
